Christmas Hampers Delivery Update


Deliveries will be starting this afternoon, Monday, December 1, 2025, for the Winnipeg and Selkirk areas. Please be patient as there are a lot of deliveries to Members over the next few weeks.


Peguis and surround areas will begin deliveries on December 8, 2025, as scheduled.


Christmas Hampers Delivery Update - Peguis

Deliveries will be starting today, Monday, December 8, 2025, for Peguis First Nation. Deliveries will take place, daily from 5:00pm – 10:00pm, in this order:

1) Peguis First Nation – South area of community
2) Peguis First Nation – Central area of community
3) Peguis First Nation – North area of community

Please be patient as there are a lot of deliveries to Members over the next few weeks. If there is no one home during delivery, a second attempt to deliver will occur in the following days.

Areas surrounding Peguis First Nation will begin after the community areas are completed.

Moose Mountain Hunting Trip On October 24, 2025, the Ogichidaa Men’s Group departed on a two-day hunting trip to Moose Mountain, Saskatchewan. On this trip, the Ogichidaa Men’s Group harvested 3 moose. To date, the Ogichidaa Men’s Group has made 2 different hunts which harvested 2 elk and 4 moose. The harvested meat was shared between 19 men that participated. The men were able to provide for their families, share with elders and others in the community. On average there has been a total of 50 men participate in the men’s group each month. The Ogichidaa Men’s Group meets on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at the Peguis Child and Family Services Main Office located in Peguis. The men’s group does activities such as hunting, fishing, trapping, golfing, Ribbon Shirt classes, support group meetings, guest speakers, and various other activities throughout the year.
