Rainbow Lodge Program Building Arriving

The Rainbow Lodge serves as a sacred place for ceremonies, cultural teachings, and gatherings. The Rainbow Lodge is dedicated to connecting people to Anishinaabe culture, traditions, and spiritual practices aimed at reclaiming our traditional way of life.


The Agency understands that these traditional ways of being provide the healing and guidance needed to regain our original strength as Anishinaabe people.


The Agency is committed to providing opportunities for every child, youth and family served to reconnect with these traditional ways. Moose Mountain Hunting Trip On October 24, 2025, the Ogichidaa Men’s Group departed on a two-day hunting trip to Moose Mountain, Saskatchewan. On this trip, the Ogichidaa Men’s Group harvested 3 moose. To date, the Ogichidaa Men’s Group has made 2 different hunts which harvested 2 elk and 4 moose. The harvested meat was shared between 19 men that participated. The men were able to provide for their families, share with elders and others in the community. On average there has been a total of 50 men participate in the men’s group each month. The Ogichidaa Men’s Group meets on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at the Peguis Child and Family Services Main Office located in Peguis. The men’s group does activities such as hunting, fishing, trapping, golfing, Ribbon Shirt classes, support group meetings, guest speakers, and various other activities throughout the year.
