3rd Annual Poker Golf Tournament Fundraiser 2025

 

Peguis Child and Family Services hosted our 3rd Annual Poker Golf Tournament Fundraiser on July 3, 2025 at Larter's at St. Andrews Golf and Country Club. 

 

All 36 teams were sold out at this year’s tournament, which was filled with laughs and great weather.

Moose Mountain Hunting Trip On October 24, 2025, the Ogichidaa Men’s Group departed on a two-day hunting trip to Moose Mountain, Saskatchewan. On this trip, the Ogichidaa Men’s Group harvested 3 moose. To date, the Ogichidaa Men’s Group has made 2 different hunts which harvested 2 elk and 4 moose. The harvested meat was shared between 19 men that participated. The men were able to provide for their families, share with elders and others in the community. On average there has been a total of 50 men participate in the men’s group each month. The Ogichidaa Men’s Group meets on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at the Peguis Child and Family Services Main Office located in Peguis. The men’s group does activities such as hunting, fishing, trapping, golfing, Ribbon Shirt classes, support group meetings, guest speakers, and various other activities throughout the year.
