Long Lac #58 First Nation Visits Peguis CFS
Peguis Child and Family Services hosted representatives from Long Lac #58 First Nation to present our process in creating the Honouring our Children, Families and Nation Act. The Agency is excited to share our history with Long Lac #58 First Nation as they begin their journey to create their own Act.
Since the signing of Honouring our Children, Families and Nation Act, the Agency has been asked by numerous First Nations from across Canada to present on our process. Many of our Brother and Sister Nations want to hear how we drafted the Act.
